Please join us on Saturday December 3, 2022 for 2nd Annual Festival of Lights 5K at Veterans Memorial Park in the Town of Niagara. Last year we had to host the event at Reservoir Park but the town has finished up all of their major improvements and renovations and are ready and able to host our event in 2022! All participants who registered by November 30th are guaranteed to receive one of our cool Festival of Lights t-shirts in their requested size. We also ordered a small supply of extra shirts that will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis until they are gone. An alternate gift item (TBD) will be presented to any late registrant who does not receive a shirt. Net proceeds from the race will be used to purchase toys for students at Tuscarora Indian Elementary School!
START/FINISH
NEW FOR 2022: The race will start and finish at Veterans Memorial Park in the Town of Niagara using USATF Certified Course #NY18006JJ. Start time is set for 4pm and the sun will begin to set around 5pm so we can all enjoy their HUGE holiday light display. Both the start and finish line are located in the large parking lot adjacent to the Senior Center/Recreation Building. Most of the course is on asphalt however the woodland section is a packed gravel trail. There will be one water stop located at the mid point and bottled water will be provided at the finish line.

POST RACE CELEBRATION
Race organizers will be serving delicious Favorite's Pizza after the race at the Calvin K. Richards Senior/Youth Activity Center along with bottled water at the finish line. There will also be music and a post race awards ceremony.
PARKING
There will be plenty of free parking at Veterans Park! The lot closest to the finish line can hold approximately 40 cars and the other lots (walking distance away) can hold hundreds of vehicles if needed.
AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Trophies will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female 5K finishers. Custom age group medals will be presented to the top 3 male and female runners.
Age Groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and older.

CANCELLATION POLICY
There will be no refunds. In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by race organizers (ex: state of emergency, etc), we reserve the right to postpone/reschedule the event at our discretion or offer a virtual alternative if necessary.
LEWISTON CHRISTMAS WALK
For those that are interested, the annual Lewiston Christmas Walk will take place in the Village of Lewiston the same weekend as our race! Lewiston comes alive with the holiday spirit as thousands of people wander throughout the village to enjoy the lights, decorations, sounds and fun of Christmas. Enjoy familiar Christmas favorites Tropical Tom, Frosty, Olaf, Buddy the Elf and Rudolph as they promenade up and down Center Street along with horse-drawn carriage rides, a petting zoo, outdoor entertainment, carolers and more. Welcome Santa’s exciting arrival by helicopter in Academy Park as he heads to his special Holiday float for the Santa Promenade down Center Street. He will then be ready to greet children in the Lewiston Peace Garden near the Historic Frontier House on both days at selected times. All over Center Street, shops will be open on both days to help you with your holiday shopping list and local businesses will be hosting special open house events.

Professional timing and finish line services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
